Weekly Update #9 - Infinity


This week's update is the largest yet, allowing the player to continue a run  infinitely! Various enhancements to the game have also been added, including various revamped graphics, new animations, QoL changes, fixes and some new gameplay enhancements.

  • The player can now continue to adventure past the first boss on depth 20, getting increasingly more difficult! This is the base system and allows many new changes in the future, such as more bosses, biomes, enemies, events and items.
  • Vastly updated various interfaces:
    • Camp
    • Battle Rewards
    • Event Rewards
    • Shrine
    • Search Rewards
  • Treasure is now random
  • Added indicator numbers for skills and skills can now be selected by pressing the appropriate number on the keyboard
  • The boss now gets more difficult as you get deeper in the dungeon
  • Items now scale after every boss
  • Prices in shop now scale
  • Added Shield Bash skill
  • Added existing skills as possible skills from shrines
  • Added various new potions, including some new potions that boost stats
  • Players now start at level 3
  • Coin graphics have been changed
  • Changed Berserker Charm from -15 Resilience to -5
  • Changed stats to be referenced locally, meaning they should now save after each depth
  • Added coin display to shop and changed it in shop inventory
  • Added a cover image for the loader
  • Changed flavour text on dungeon board
  • Fixed boss skill text blocking clicking space for enemies
  • Adjusted Skill Prompt window
  • Saving and loading should now properly save the dungeon layout
