Weekly Update #2


We've moved on with the prototype name are now called Numentale!
This week brings a substantial amount of graphical updates and a few bug fixes and general quality of life changes.
I'm really looking forward to sharing all this progress! Enjoy!


General

  • Added saving and loading functionality (The game saves after every floor)
  • Made flames on the main menu look and act better
  • Character sprite, camera borders and camera now move when moving deeper in to the dungeon
  • Various updates on tooltips look and functionality
  • Added gradient to liven up damage numbers slightly
  • Added skill select arrow on skill drag
  • Added tooltips for player attributes in battle
  • Several new GUI elements added
  • Updated the look of cards on the board
  • Inventory look updated
  • Now shows skill level on main menu
  • Now shows standard attack damage in the inventory
  • The game is now called Numentale! New title on the main menu
  • Added slight sway on main menu

Bugfixes

  • Fixed bug with battle text acting weird on new battles after the first
  • Fixed tooltips being positioned incorrectly in windowed mode
